New Delhi, 17 March 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Office of Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat for extension of deputation tenure of Shri S Suresh, IPS (KL:1995), ADG, SPG for a period from 09.03.2026 to 31.12.2026, by continuing the period of upgradation of the corresponding post of IG to level of ADG, as a measure personal to the officer, in relation to relaxation of IPS tenure policy.
