New Delhi, 06 August 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following appointments! extensions for filling up of various Foreign and Captive Posts of the Government of India at the Deputy Secretary, Director, Joint Secretary Level.
The Appointment of Shri Baldeo Purushartha, lAS (PB:2002), Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs to the post of Senior Adviser to the Executive Director, Asian Development Bank, Manila, Philippines [a Joint Secretary level Captive Post of Govt. of India] on deputation basis under Department of Economic Affairs vice Shri Ponnuraj V., lAS (KN:2000), for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by curtailing the tenure of his central deputation as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs under the Central Staffing Scheme.
