New Delhi, 15 January 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for appointment of Shri Aneesh Hegde, IRTS(2014) as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister of State for Jal Shakti & Railways, Shri V. Somanna in the Ministry of Railways at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period of four years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or co-terminus with the tenure of Minister of State or until further orders.
