New Delhi, 11 December 2025: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal of Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways for re-designation of the post of Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary level) to the Minister of Road, Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Jairam Gadkari, presently held by Shri Shinde Deepak Arjun, IAS (AGMUT: 2012), as Private Secretary (Director level), as a measure personal to him with effect from 01.01.2026 or the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post, whichever is later and for a period up to 31.08.2027 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
