New Delhi, 21 June 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the recommendation of the Civil Services Board for appointment of Ms. Mamta, IES (2008), Director in the Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade as Director in the M/o Steel under the Central Staffing Scheme on ‘lateral shift’ basis for a tenure upto 31.03.2029 (i.e. balance period of her five-year deputation tenure under central staffing scheme at Director level or until further order.
