New Delhi, 06 June 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of tenure of Shri Tarun Kapoor, IAS (HP:1987) (Retd.) as Advisor to the Prime Minister, in the Prime Minister’s Ofice. in the rank and scale of Secretary to Government of India, for a further period of one-vear w.e.f. 10.06.2026 or until futher orders whichever is earlier, on contract basis as per usual terms and conditions as are applicable.
