New Delhi, 23 December 2025: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal for re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs presently held by Shri Guriqbal Singh, IPS (AGMUT:2012), as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs as a measure personal to him with effect from 01 .01.2026 or the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post and for a period up to 24.02.2030 i.e admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
