New Delhi, 17 December 2025: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal for re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education presently held by Ms. Garima Sharma, IRS (lT:2012), as Director, in the Department of Higher Education as a measure personal to her with effect from 01 .01 .2026 or the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post, whichever is later and for a period upto 01 .09.2029 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
