New Delhi, 15 December 2025: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal for re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce (GeM) presently held by Shri Sushant Sudan, IES (2012), as Director, as a measure personal to him with effect from 01.01.2026 or the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post, whichever is later and for a period up to 06.01.2027 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
