New Delhi, 15 December 2025: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal for re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy presently held by Shri Prasad Arvind Chaphekar, IRS(IT: 2012), as Director in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy as a measure personal to him with effect from 01.01.2026 or the date of assumption of charge of the re- designated post, whichever is later and for a period up to 25.12.2027 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
