Jaipur, 17 November 2025: The Rajasthan Government on Sunday appointed Shri V Srinivas, IAS (Raj: 1989) as the New Chief Secretary of the state and has taken charge today. He was relieved from the Central Deputation on 14 November 2025.
Shri V Srinivas, who has spent the past seven years on central deputation, worked with several departments in different capacity. He will continue as Chief Secretary, Rajasthan Government until September 2026, when he is scheduled to retire.
Along with the post of Chief Secretary, Srinivas has also been given additional charge as the Chairman of the Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Ltd and Principal Resident Commissioner, Rajasthan, in New Delhi.
