CM Yogi Adityanath Did Biggest Reshuffles in Senior Bureaucracy, 46 IAS Officer in UP

Lucknow, 29 October 2025: The UP Govt. has transferred and reassigned 46 IAS officers, marking one of the biggest reshuffles in recent months after Election Commission of India declared SIR in 12 States & UT. 1. Shri Bal Krishna Tripathi, Commissioner of Vindhyachal has been appointed Secretary of the General Administration Department.

2. Shri Rajesh Prakash, Director General of Fisheries, has been appointed as Commissioner of Vindhyachal.

3. Shri Rupesh Kumar, who headed UP’s Power Generation and Transmission Corporations, has been posted as Commissioner of Saharanpur.

4. Former Saharanpur commissioner Shri Atal Kumar Rai has been shifted to Home Department as secretary.

5. Shri Bhanu Chandra Goswami, juggling three portfolios—Revenue, Relief, and Consolidation—stepped into the Commissioner’s chair in Meerut, the industrial heartland.

6. While former Meerut Commissioner Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod will take charge of Revenue, Relief and Consolidation.

7. Shri Dhanalakshmi K, who had chaired the Human Rights Commission, is now Director General of Fisheries.

8. Shri Sanjay Kumar, already handling Public Enterprises, was handed the Human Rights Commission as additional charge.

9. Shri Mayur Maheshwari is now MD of UP Power Generation and Transmission Corporations.

10. Shri Vijay Kiran Anand, CEO of Invest UP, gets additional charge of UPSIDC and NRI Cell.

11. Shri Rahul Pandey, DM of Hathras, becomes Special Secretary, State Tax.

12. Shri Atul Vats will take charge of Hathras, he was Vice Chairman of Ghaziabad
Development Authority (GDA).

13. Shri Nand Kishore Kalal is now the new VC of GDA.

14. Shri Amandeep Duli, DM Lalitpur, traded his parched Bundelkhand roads for the
labyrinths of MGNREGA as Additional Commissioner.

15. Abhishek Anand, DM Sitapur, moved to the Excise Department as Special Secretary.

16. Shri Rajaganapathi R from Siddharthnagar’s borderlands, took Sitapur’s reins.

17. While Krittika Jyotsna is now DM Basti, she replaced Raveesh Gupta, who will now head PVVNL in Meerut.

18. Shri Shivasharanappa G N is now DM Siddharthnagar.

19. In Varanasi, Himanshu Nagapal rose from Chief Development Officer to Municipal Commissioner. While, Prakhar Kumar Singh filled his previous role.

20. Shri Purn Vohra, CDO Bijnor, became Vice Chairman of Varanasi Development Authority, trading
rural development for the chaos of Kashi’s ghats.

21. Shri Ranvijay Singh, ADM Ghaziabad, became CDO Bijnor.

22. Shri Yogendra Kumar took over as CDO and Divisional Food Controller in Aligarh.

23. Shri Akshat Verma, Municipal Commissioner of Varanasi, was reassigned as Special Secretary in the Planning Department.

24. In Chitrakoot, Pulkit Garg took over as DM.

25. Shri Rishi Raj, previously overseeing Firozabad’s municipal affairs, moved to Prayagraj’s development authority.

26. Shri Gunjan Dwivedi, CDO Kushinagar, inherited Firozabad.

27. While Vandita Srivastava became CDO Kushinagar.

28. Shri Madhusudan Hulgi, DM Kaushambi, was called to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat
as Special Secretary. Shri Amit Pal replaced him as DM.

29. In Balrampur, Pawan Agrawal moved to the Home Department, and Vipin Kumar Jain took over the border district.

30. Shri Akanksha Rana became Municipal Commissioner of Jhansi.

31. While Shri Satyaprakash was promoted to DM Lalitpur.

32. Shri Ashwini Kumar Pandey become DM of Shravasti.

33. Shri Ajay Kumar Dwivedi became DMs of Rampur.

34. Shri Mahendra Kumar Singh as CDO Rampur.

35. In Ayodhya, Anuraj Jain became Vice Chairman of the Development Authority.

36. Shri Gulab Chandra took charge as CDO Maharajganj.

37. Shri Suraj Patel as CEO of the Braj Teerth Development Council.

38. Shri Sachin Kumar Singh as CDO Amethi.

39. Shri Joginder Singh was appointed Special Secretary of Namami Gange and
Rural Water Supply.

40. Ms. Isha Duhan became MD of the Cooperative Sugar Mills Union.

41. Shri Kumar Vineet took charge as Special Secretary of Youth Welfare and Sport
