New Delhi, 22 September 2025: The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for the appointment of Shri Praveer Ranjan, IPS (AGMUT 1993), presently working as Special Director General, CISF under Ministry of Home Affairs to the post of Director General, Central Industrial Security Force from the date of assumption of the charge of the post and upto 31.07.2029 i.e. date of his superannuation or until further orders.
