New Delhi, 22 September 2025: The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for the appointment of Shri Praveen Kumar, IPS (WB 1993), presently working as Special Director, IB under Ministry of Home Affairs to the post of Director General, Indo Tibetan Border Police from the date of assumption of the charge of the post and upto 30.09.2030 i.e. date of his superannuation or until further orders.
