New Delhi, 30 July 2025: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension of tenure of Shri Saurabh Garg, lAS (OR:1991) (Retd.) as Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation on contract basis for a further period of one year beyond 31 07.2025, i.e., upto 31.07.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, on existing terms and conditions. The officer will also discharge the functions of Secretary to National Statistical Commission
