New Delhi, 30 July 2025: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for appointment of Shri Sanjay Singhal, IPS (UP:1993), Special DG, BSF as Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post on or after 01 .09.2025, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 31.12.2028 or until further orders.
