Appointment Committee has Upgraded the post of General Manager, FCI to Joint Secretary Level

New Delhi, 16 July 2025: The Appointment Committee of Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Food and Public Distribution for the temporary upgradation of the post of General Manager, Food Corporation of India (FCI), held by the following officer, to the level of Joint Secretary, as measure personal to them.

1. Shri Vishesh Garhpale, IAS (MP: 2008), General Manager, FCI (Madhya Pradesh) Director Level for a period upto 07.09.2025 or until further orders.
2. Shri Sharandeep Kaur, IAS (HY: 2009), General Manager, FCI (Haryana), Director Level for a period upto 20.08.2026 or until further orders.
