New Delhi, 02 July 2025: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs for Extension of Service to Shri Vikas Sahay, IPS (GJ:1989), Director General of Police (DGP), Gujarat for a period of six months beyond his date of superannuation i.e. 30.06.2025 in relaxation of rule 16(1) of AIS (DCRB) rules 1958 as special case in public interest.
