New Delhi, 30 April 2025: The Appointment Committee of Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Baranwal Varunkumar Jagdish, IAS (GJ: 2014) as Private Secretary to the Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period upto 19.08.2029 (i.e. total tenure of five years as PS/OSD), with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or co-terminus basis with tenure of Minister or until further orders.
