New Delhi, 04 April 2025: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal for appointment of Ms. Chandni Singh, IAS(UP:2013) as Private Secretary to the Minister for Women & Child Development (Smt. Annpurna Devi) in the Ministry of Women & Child Development at the level of Deputy Secretary for the period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis or until further orders.
Prior to this central deputation, she served as the Additional Commissioner of Commercial Tax (GST) in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Her husband, IFS officer Kanishk Sharma of the 2013 batch, has held the position of Regional Passport Officer in Lucknow since January 31, 2022.
