New Delhi, 01 March 2025: Appointment Committee of Cabinet has approved the Appointment of Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, IAS (OR : 1987) for the post of Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for the term of three year with effect from 28 February 2025. He has succeeded Smt. Madhabi Puri Buch, who will complete her tenure as SEBI’s first woman chairperson on February 28, 2025.
He is presently serving as Finance Secretary, Ministry of Finance Govt. of India and will retire in August 2025.
