New Delhi, 08 April 2024: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Office of Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat for Appointment of Shri Umesh Chander Datta, IPS (RJ: 2000), as IG in SPG, for a period of 05 years as per the IPS tenure policy. Temporary upgradation of one vacant post of DIG to IG in SPG, for a period of two years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, by Shri Umesh Chander Datta, IPS (RJ: 2000).
