New Delhi, 27 May 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the Appointment of Shri Vinayak Bhat, IRS (C&IT:2009) as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Railways (Shri V. Somanna) in the D/o Drinking Water & Sanitation at the level of Director, for a period upto 28.05.2028 (i.e. balance period of his 5 years tenure) w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge of post or on co-terminus to the tenure of Minister.
