Shri Amit Satija & Shri Neeraj Kumar Gayagi has been Appointed as Joint Secretary, 8th Central Pay Commission

New Delhi, 09 April 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Expenditure for appointment of the following officers:

1. Shri Amit Satija, IAS (AGMUT:2008), presently working as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence Production as Joint Secretary, Eighth Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) under the Department of Expenditure, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 16.04.2028 or until further orders.
2. Shri Niraj Kumar Gayagi, IDAS (1997), presently working as Joint Secretary, Department of Justice as Joint Secretary, Eighth Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) under the Department of Expenditure, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of seven years upto 06.04.2027 or until further orders.
