Shimla, 11 March 2026: Shri Kavinder Gupta, has been Sworn in as Governor of Himachal Pradesh in the ceremony held at Lok Bhawan Shimla. Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice Shri Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia administered the oath of office and secrecy to him.
The Governor Shri Kavinder Gupta pledged to carry forward the initiatives of his predecessors and sought the cooperation of the Chief Minister and the State Government in advancing them on priority.
Acknowledging Himachal Pradesh’s standing as a leader in education, he expressed his resolve to further enhance the quality of education across the State.
