New Delhi, 30 October 2025: The Appointment Committee of Cabinet has approved the curtailment of tenure of Shri Shashank Mani Tripathi, IAS (AGMUT: 2015) as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs under Central Staffing Scheme.
ACC further Approved the Appointment Shri Shashank Mani Tripathi (IAS) as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for Ministry of Home Affairs, Shri Amit Shah, in the Ministry of Home Affairs in the level of Deputy Secretary, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of post for period upto 30.08.2028 (i.e. balance of the period of the four year of central deputation tenure) or co-terminus with the tenure of Minister for Ministry of Home Affairs.
