ACC has Approved the Appointment of 15 Senior Bureaucrats at Ministries of Govt. of India

New Delhi, 28 August 2025: Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following appointments:

1. Shri Sanjay Rastogi, IAS (OR:91 ), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports as Director General, National Archives of India, Ministry of Culture in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
2. Shri Anil Kumar Singhal, IAS (AP:93), as Chief Executive Officer, National Rainfed Area Authority, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily downgrading the post to Additional Secretary level and
   by modifying the order dated 02.07.2025.
3. Shri Sudeep Jain, IAS (TN:94), Additional Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy as Member Secretary, National Commission for Women. Ministry of Women & Child Development in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
4. Shri Dheeraj Sahu, IAS (UP:96), Managing Director, Small Farmers AgriBusiness Consortium, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare as Additional Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education.
5. Shri A. Anbarasu, IAS (AGMUT:96), presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary & Director General (Acquisition), Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence.
6. Shri Lav Aggarwal, IAS (AP:96), presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development vice Shri Gyanesh Bharti, IAS (AGMUT:98) upon his appointment as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India by continuing the temporary upgradation of the post held by Shri Bharti.
7. Shri Sunil Kumar Barnwal, IAS (JH:97), Additional Secretary, Department of Higher Education as Chief Executive Officer, National Health Authority, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily downgrading the post to Additional Secretary level.
8. Shri Manish Bhardwaj, IAS (GJ:97), Deputy Director General, Unique Identification Authority of India, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology as Secretary, National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily downgrading the post to Additional Secretary Level.
9. Shri Akash Tripathi, IAS (MP:98), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power as Managing Director, Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd., Ministry of New & Renewable Energy in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily upgrading the post to Additional Secretary level.
10. Shri Gyanesh Bharti, IAS (AGMUT:98), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of DS/Director in the Commission.
11. Shri Hirdesh Kumar, IAS (AGMUT:99), Managing Director, Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India, Ministry of Tribal Affairs as CEO, NA TGRID, Ministry of Home Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
12. Shri Diwakar Nath Misra, IAS (AM:2000), presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
13. Shri Akhil Kumar, IPS (UP:94), presently in the cadre, as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
14. Shri Sandeep Sarkar, IDAS:95, presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Agricultural Research & Education.
15. Ms. Anu P. Mathai, IES:96, presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance by temporarily upgrading a vacant of post of Joint Secretary of the Department.
