New Delhi, 31 May 2023: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the service of Shri Arun Kumar Sinha, IPS (KL:1 987) as Director, Special Protection Group (SPG), at the level of DG, for a period of one year beyond the date of his superannuation i.e. 31 .05.2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, in public interest, in relaxation of FR 56(d) and All India Services Death-cum-Retirement Benefit) Rules, 1958.
