ACC has Approved the Appointments at Joint Secretary Level, Govt. of India

New Delhi, 17 August 2022 : The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments and repatriation of officers at Joint Secretary level and equivalent.

1. Appointment of Shri Ashish Kumar Srivastava, IFoS (TN:1997), as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years up to 08/03/2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Prasanta K Swain, IPoS (1987).
2. Appointment of Shri Dharmendra Kumar Singh, IA&AS (2000), as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years up to 20/02/2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Nazli Jafri Shayin, IA&AS (1999).
3. Appointment of Shri Manish Tripathi, IDAS (1998), as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Vishal Gagan, lAS (OD:1998).
4. Appointment of Shri Amitabh Ranjan Sinha, IP&TA&FS (1998), as Additional FA & Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence (Finance), Department of Defence, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Rabindra Kumar Karna, IDAS (1991).
5. Appointment of Ms. Nameeta Prasad, IA&AS (1999), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Manju Pandey, IPoS (1989).
6. Premature repatriation of Shri Ved Prakash, IRSE (Civil) (1988), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs to his parent cadre.
7. Appointment of Shri Prithul Kumar, IRTS (2000), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Anju Nigam, IPoS (1988).
8. Appointment of Shri Vipul Goel, IRSSE (1993), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of
   Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, from the date of assumption of the charge of the
   post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Alka
   Nangia Arora, IDAS (1991).
9. Appointment of Ms. Mamta Varma, IInfoS (1994), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Khushwant Singh Sethi, IFoS (TR:1990).
10. Appointment of Shri Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, IAS (UT:1997), as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Sujata Chaturvedi, IAS (BH:1989).
11. Appointment of Ms. Rajul Bhatt, IPoS (2000), as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of seven years upto 07/05/2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Asheesh Sharma, IAS (MH:1997).
12. Appointment of Shri Debtoru Chatterjee, IPoS (1994), as Joint Secretary & Controller, NTRO, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Anuradha Joshi Durgapal, IP&TA&FS (1989).
13. Appointment of Ms. Prachi Pandey, IA&AS (2001), as Joint Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Maneesh Garg, IAS (HP:1996).
14. Appointment of Ms. Archana Sharma Awasthi, IRS (IT) (1994), as Joint Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Ramchandra Meena, IRS (IT:1992).
15. Appointment of Shri T Roumuan Paite, IRS (IT) (1996), as CMD, National Scheduled Tribes Finance & Development Corporation (NSTFDC) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Asit Gopal, IFoS (MP:1990).
16. Appointment of Shri Dodda Venkata Swamy, IAS (OD : 2001), as Chairman, Marine Products Exports Development Authority (MPEDA), Kochi under the Department of Commerce, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of five years upto 17/03/2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Shasidhar K Srinivas, IAS (KL:1997).
