New Delhi, 24 June 2024: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of Department of Economic Affairs for grant of necessary permission of the competent authority in respect of Shri Rai Mahimapat Ray, IAS (JH:2011) to enable him to take up the long-term foreign assignment as Senior Digital Development Specialist under International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (BRD), World Bank, Washington DC, USA on International Hire basis under Rule 6(2)(ii) of IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, for the period up to 11 October 2027, i.e., the maximum permissible limit of 7 years outside the cadre at a stretch or until further orders.
