New Delhi, 09 July 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for:
- Appointment of Shri Alok Kumar Mittal, IFS (HY:1993), presently working in cadre, to the post of Director General, BPR&D (Level-16 in the pay matrix) from the date of joining of the post and up to 30.06.2029 i.e. date of his superannuation or until further orders.
- Appointment of Shri Amit Garg, IPS (AP:1993), presently working as Director, SVPNPA (Level-16 in the pay matrix) to the post of Director, National Crime Record Bureau (Level-16 in the pay matrix) by temporary upgradation of the post of Director, NCRB to that of DG level on personal basis, from the date of joining the post and till date of his superannuation i.e. 31.10.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Shri Alok Ranjan, IFS (MP:1991)
- Appointment of Shri Sujeet Pandey, IPS (UP:1994) presently working in cadre to the post of Director, SVPNPA (Level-16 in the pay matrix) from the date of joining of the post up to 31.07.2028 i.e. date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Shri Amit Garg, IFS (AP:1993)
