ACC has Approved the Appointment & Extension of Senior Bureaucrates as Joint Secretary, Govt. of India

New Delhi, 18 November 2024: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension in temporary upgradation of the following posts:

1. Ms. Roli Singh, IAS (RJ 1994), has been upgraded as Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Health & Farnily Welfare for a term up to 26.12.2025.
2. Ms. Varsha Joshi, IAS (AGMUT:95), has been given extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying. Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, for a term up to 26.07.2025.
3. Shri Suman Billa, IAS (KL:96), has been given extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Ministry of Tourism, for a term up to 05.12.2025.
4. Shri Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, IAS (AGMUT:97), has been given extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Personnel & Training, for a term up to 18.11.2025.
5. Shri Ashish Vachhani, IAS (TN:97), has been give extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Economic Affairs, for a term up to 20.11.2025.
6. Shri Rakesh Gupta, IAS (HY:97), has been given extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in President’s Secretariat, for a term up to 18.11.2025.
7. Shri Rohit Kumar, IAS (RJ:97), has been given extension in upgradation of the post of Director to the level of Additional Secretary in Cabinet Secretariat, for a term up to 24.09.2025.
8. Ms. Trishaljit Sethi, IPoS (1990), has been given extension in upgradation of the post of Director to the level of Additional Secretary in Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship,as Director General (Training), for a term up to 01.09.2025.
9. Ms. Vismita Tej. IRS (IT:90), has been given extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Ministry of Coal, for a term up to 23.09.2025.
