New Delhi, 16 November 2024: A Senior IPS officer Shri Abdul Ahad, who has been serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in the Bengaluru City Crime Branch (CCB), has now been re-assigned as the Director of Security and Vigilance for the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).
Shri Abdul Ahad, has an extensive service record, having held several prominent roles. These include the DCP of Bengaluru’s Whitefield division, the SP of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Bengaluru, the SP of the Economic Offences Wing at CID, and the Commandant at Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP)
