Patna, 04 September 2024: Govt. of Bihar has reshuffled the senior bureaucracy in the state, 19 IAS officers has reassigned and transferred in various departments to enhance administrative efficiency.
1.Harjot Kaur Bamhara has taken on the role of ACS for the Social Welfare Department and will oversee the Bihar State Women and Child Development Corporation.
2. Santosh Kumar Mall has been appointed as principal secretary of the Water Resources Department.
3. Bandana Preyasi has been relieved of her duties as MD of the Bihar State Women and Child Development Corporation but will continue to serve as Secretary of the Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Department.
4. Prem Singh Meena as Commissioner of Magadh Division
5. Sarvanan M as Commissioner of Tirhut Division
6. Gopal Singh Meena as Divisional Commissioner of Saran
7. Lokesh Kumar Singh has been named Secretary of the Finance Department, with an additional charge of the Rural Development Department
8. Pankaj Kumar Pal has been appointed Secretary of the Energy Department
9. Kundan Kumar has been assigned as MD of BIADA
10. Dr. Birendra Prasad Yadav has been appointed Special Secretary of the Agriculture Department
11. Dayanidhi Pandey will now lead the Art, Culture, and Youth Department,
12. Sandeep Kumar R Pudkalkatti will take on the role of Secretary of the Minor Irrigation Department
13. Dharmendra Singh has been given additional responsibility for the Cooperatives Department
14. Jay Singh has been named Secretary of the Finance Department
15. Sanjay Kumar Singh has been appointed as Secretary of the Commercial Taxes Department
16. Ashima Jain has been posted as Secretary of the Transport Department.
