New Delhi, 12 August 2024: The Appointment Committee of Cabinet has approved the Appointment of Shri T V Somanathan, IAS (TN: 1987) as Cabinet Secretary, Govt. of India with a tenure of two years with from the date of 30 August 2024.
Also, ACC has approved his appointment as Officer on Special Duty in the Cabinet Secretariat from the date he join the assignment till the he take over as Cabinet Secretary.
