New Delhi, 12 August 2024: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Shri Baranwal Varunkumar Jagdish, IAS(GJ:2014) as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for Commerce & Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal in the M/o Commerce & Industry at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period of four years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders.
