New Delhi, 02 March 2024: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade for extension of central deputation tenure of Shri Surendra Kumar Ahirwar, IRTS (1997), Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade for a period of one year beyond 08 January 2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier by continuing the period of upgradation of the corresponding post of Director to the level of Joint Secretary for a term upto 08 January 2025.
