Lucknow, 01 September 2022 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath has done a major Administrative Reshuffle in UP Bureaucracy and 16 Senior IAS Officers has been transferred on 31 August 2022. Shri Avanish Kumar Awasthi (IAS) did not get extension of his service from the Central Govt. after repeated request and got retired yesterday. But the gossip in power gallery is still continue that he may return in Yogi administration through backdoor entry.
The powerful senior bureaucrats got transferred yesterday includes following names: Shri Navneet Sehgal, (IAS 1988) Addl. Chief Secretary has been given Sport Department and released from Department of Information and Public Relations & MSME, Khadi & Village Industries etc.
While Shri Sanjay Prasad (IAS 1995) Principal Secretary To Chief Minister has been given Department of Information & Public Relations, Secretary Protocol, Home, Encryption, Visa, Passport and Vigilance Department etc.
Shri Amit Mohan Prasad, ACS who was the Chief of Health Department for 4 years, has now been given the responsibility of ACS MSME, Export Promotion, Handloom & Cloths Industry, Khadi & Village Industry Department.
Smt. Aradhana Shukla (IAS 1989) ACS has been removed from secondary education and now sent to AYUSH department. Dr. Hariom is also among the other IAS who have been transferred. He has now been given the big responsibility of Principal Secretary Social Welfare from the General Administration Department. At the same time, Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Shri Mukesh Kumar will now also look after charitable work.
Shri Himanshu Kumar has been sent from Social Welfare and Minority Welfare to Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Rural Engineering Services. Shri Parthasarathy Sen Sharma, who was waiting, has been made Principal Secretary, Medical and Health.
Smt. Monica S. Garg ACS has been given Minority Welfare and Muslim class from higher education. Shri Mahesh Kumar Gupta has been made Additional Chief Secretary Energy and Additional Energy. Ms. Kalpana Awasthi has been sent as the Principal Secretary to the Governor. Shri Arvind Kumar get addl. charge of CEO UPIEDA and UPSHA while Shri Rajesh Kumar-I has been given Principal Secretary Jail Administration and DG Jail.
Shri Manoj Kumar Singh has been given Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) and ACS Panchayati Raj, Industry and Food Processing Department. Shri Deepak Kumar has been assigned addl. charge of Secondary Education Department.
